Jason Sirvatka was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He left for a time to attend school at the University of Illinois at Champaign, where he received his B.S. in Music Theory and M.S. in Music Education. He met his wife, Kim, in school and they were married in a church near by, where they had both served in music ministry.

After they had settled back into the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area, Jason took on a part-time choir director position and also taught as a private music instructor. He then had the opportunity to work at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois as an Associate Music Director. He stayed there for 8 years, until he heard about an opening in the Worship Ministry at Glen Ellyn Bible Church.

His hope, and the hope of the leaders of the church, was to bring an alive contemporary worship style that would compel the hearts of believers to worship with full hearts... no matter what their circumstances in life. His style is to infuse scripture into the worship time of Sunday services through spoken word and in song. Traditional hymns are also part of this time; some given to a contemporary flare.

Jason's door is always open and he welcomes visitors who may have questions, thoughts or concerns regarding the Worship Ministry at Glen Ellyn Bible Church.
